Arthritis - Arthritis is an inflammatory disease of the joints.  Most horses will develop arthritis in their lifetime. It can make the joints very painful for the horse so they are not able to perform as before and in very serious cases can make the horse lame or unable to lay down and get up in comfort. ExcelEQ is loaded with Omega 3 which is a NATURAL anti-inflammatory. When you reduce inflammation in the joints the pain is reduced and the horse can move and feel better.  This product is not a joint lubricant. Heaves. Heaves is like as asthma in humans. There can be irritation and inflammation in the airways of the horse.  Reducing inflammation in the body also does in the airways, which can help the horse breath better.
